Pedro is trapped in an unresolved divorce and struggling with a cycle of debts. The day before his young daughter's birthday, he is intimidated by a usurious money lender who sets him a payday deadline. Pedro is cornered by his own thoughts and beliefs and by the system, he is running out of time.
