The plot is set in the Duchy of Stultus, more precisely in the Primula Valley, a place that one day is visited by a caravan under the command of old chief Servant. Among them comes Toxzo, a gypsy prince whose entourage is dedicated to breeding breeding horses. The young gypsy will soon fall under the spell of Sovira, the duke's daughter.
