The economic crisis provokes the bankruptcy of many companies. In ALURMAR, a metallurgical factory, workers are reluctant to lose their only livelihood. Juan is one of those employees who hasn't collect his salary for months. His pregnant wife and his debts make him see a very black future. Little by little, taking control of his desperation, Juan and his companions begin to organize themselves as a cooperative to keep the company (abandoned by their owners) in operation.
