During the Falklands War Patagonia, especially the provinces of Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego, it was the scene of theater. In case, the eastern end of the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego, a group of marine compounds of a noncommissioned officer, a corporal and two sailors who met with military service have the mission to control the marine traffic throughout the course of the war.
